I knew Roy through out most of my life. Elementary school to SPC and then in professional life. He worked very hard in the transfer business and then later in life became a builder for the Harley Davidson physical plants in Florida. I always found him honest and very smart. In 1999 on a night I sat at a tiki bar on Cayman Brac,BWI., I looked at a man I knew from the states. I said, "Roy?" He stared and said, "Kenny?" I said again, " Roy!" He said, "Kenny!" That is the last time I saw Roy Miller. We talked and drank and laughed about the past -- here we were meeting in the Cayman Island, thousands of miles from home-- one on a diving trip and one working. We dove together the next day and I said goodbye to him and his new young wife. A few years later I saw his obituary. I think he took all the breathe he could out of this life.
