Sadly, Pam Zito passed away in late December of 2025. There was no published obituary that I am aware of. I do remember Pam as someone who was incredibly funny and also had a bubbly personality. - Hal Peters
This a a major loss, as are all classmates lost to us. I rmember Pam as a large personality; her energy and presence added so much to our class, and I'm sure to the world as she went forward. It would begreatto hear from those who stayed in touch and in her life.
It's always a sad day when you hear of a classmate passing. Been trying to remember the last time I saw Pam. I guess it was at least more than 6 years ago at Palm Beach. Rest in peace.
I am so sorry to have heard of Pam's passing back in January. I remember her as being incredibly smart, witty, exuberant and kind. Amazing that, every time we turn around, we lose another classmate. RIP, Pam.
My most vivid memory of Pam is when she told the gym teacher, Mrs. Berg, that she wanted to lift weights. Mrs. Berg exploded. I remember every word: "You want to have muscles like a guy?" It was a snap shot of the time. Of course a girl will not have muscles like a guy. she will have muscles like a girl. Now I find it amazing that a gym teacher would discourage physical activity. Of course we didn't have any sports teams to play on but she inspected our uniforms carefully. And you had to wet your shoulders to make it look like you showered or you were in trouble. We rarely did anything that would produce sweat anyway. In the spring sometimes we would run on the track outside and a group of girls would take an F for the day rather than do it. I hope times have changed. Thanks, Pam.
