Help Plan Reunion
*Below is a list of Job Tasks we need completed for the reunion. If you want to be involved look for positions that are not yet filled. They will say "open" if someone is needed for that position. Click on the "Contact Us" link to the left if you find something you would like to be a part of.
Job Task: Site Administrators and Chair “women”

Responsibilities:
Collect contact information from committee members and put data into website
Give regular updates to all committee members of reunion status
Distribute job tasks
Oversee all finances and coordinate with other committee members
Job Task: Decorations Team
Postition: OPEN
Team Members (need 3-4): Ashley,
Contact American Linen for green and gold overlays
Contact Price Center for white center pieces
Find hangers for walls that are study and safe
Hang memorabilia
Place Blown up photos
Job Task: Entertainment Crew/ Announcers
Position: CLOSED
Team Members: Cory, Harry, MJ, Manuel
Team Members (need 3-4)
Announce 50/50 raffle winners ( I can give you raffle tickets and bowl)
Prizes to Most kids, farthest traveled etc. You will not need to collect prizes and we will tell you the winners, all you have to do is announce.
What happened in the year 2000 trivia questions. People will raise hands and tell you who got them all correct. You will not need to collect prizes.
This team will decide the winners of the karaoke contest at the end of the night if we are able to provide that service.
Job Task: Class Slideshow

You will not need to create a slideshow because our DJ does that at a fee. You just have to get all pictures to Ashley on one disk to give to him. Try to collect funny pictures, pictures from elementary school and on…
Also, possibly create party favors by copying completed slideshow DVD from DJ. You will coordinate with Ashley and him.
Job Task: In Memory Display

You will cream a display for those we have lost. You will need to contact Josh and Adrian’s parents for nice photos of each of them. You will need two white frames for people to write messages on. You will be able to give these to the parents after the reunion is over.
Optional: Lead the moment in silence…if you don’t feel comfortable Courtney can do this.
Job Task: Financial Treasurer

Before all purchases needing reimbursement, approval will need to be made with the treasurers.
Keep logs and receipts of expenditures and income.
Job Task: Donated Prizes

Ask local businesses to donate items for the reunion.

Go order invitations at Party City. Coordinate with Ashley and Courtney on information to be printed. Pick up the invitations. Receive a list of names and addresses. Print labels, or write them and mail them out.

Contact Sports Director at Holtville High School for sports uniforms and equipment. Have them put it in a box and take it to the decorators the day of reunion. Return the items after the reunion.

Blow up pictures at Costco of the Hall of Fame pics. Contact Holtville High School’s Year Book Staff to get negatives…or if you have to scan pics from year book.

Do you have a tape of our graduation? Get it transferred on DVD and give to Courtney Chell to play sometime during our Reunion.

Create polls and quizzes for our classmates, upload songs that we used to listen to so that our Website is more appealing and interactive.

Stay after the reunion to throw away trash and bag up linens.
Job Task: Memories Video

Collect videos of what people remember about High School. They can make short clips and sent them to you. You will put them on one disk to give to the DJ.
Job Task: New Hall of Fame

You will run the competition for the New Hall of Fame. Decide the categories and use our website to have people vote. People will also need to send in pictures of themselves as the candidates. These pictures will be shown the night of the reunion.

This job task will have to wait until the end to see if funds are available. You would create a simple program for the night and print them out on card stock paper.
Job Task: Desserts
Position: ClOSED
Name: Bertha
This job task will have to wait until the end to see if funds are available. You will need to pick up the dessert for the night of the reunion. It may be necessary for you to cut and place on plates as well.
