LOUBERTA (BERRY) STEVENSON "SUGAR PIE", 76, of Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was a retired Houston Independent School District teacher where she taught for 30 years. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Stevenson, Jr., children: Raye Jean Stevenson, Rosetta (Stevenson) Calhoun, and Henry L. Stevenson, III, daughter-in-law, Monica Stevenson, and grandchildren: Carnell Calhoun, Jr., Matthew Tee Steve Calhoun, Hannah Elizabeth Stevenson, and Henry L. Stevenson, IV. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at the Fifth Ward Church of Christ (4308 Stonewall Street (1-10 east @ Waco St.) viewing from 9-11 a.m. and funeral services will start at 11 a.m. with Bro. Gary Smith officiating.
