To everyone who has heard about Samuel "Jacob" Garza, heres the current news as of 1/2/2009 @ 2:27pm

He is on the candidate list for a kidney transplant.

Please reach me via Facebook or highrezolution@gmail.com for more information and also I will post here as I know more. I will be contacting him by phone on Monday morning.

Lets send all of our prayers to Jacob for a speedy recovery and we know that he'll be back on his feet.

Becky, I KNOW, It's so great isn't it? I'm so excited to see all the new activity. All that hard work of messaging people on facebook, myspace and classmates is paying off. I found the sweetest woman, Paula that has such a huge list of her classmates, that she has shared the site with them!

So thank you to the classes of 60-87 for all of your recent activity!

OK, I guess it's time to post another response. I truly wish I could have made the All Alumni Weekend. I was looking at the flyer and there was not a date on it. I just assumed it was last week Friday, that's why I am saying I wish I could have made it. Anyway, I hope everyone that went had a good time and developed some new friendships and re established previous ones. Peace Out Tigers! Don't be shy. P.S. all you C/O 88 cats, unlock your profiles on the samhouston88 site, some of us non 88 graduates were pretty tight with you and would love to contact you again. Double P.S. Things are slacking here yall. So I guess I need to post.
I didn't plan on being back in H-town for the Alumni Weekend, but as some of you already know, I had to go back for my father's funeral. Even though it was a very bitter sweet occassion, my daughter and I enjoyed the game. I thank all of you for the kind words and gestures during that difficult time. My family is doing well now. A few more admin. details to take care of, but overall things are fine. I really look forward to going back to Houston in June for our Class Reunion and I hope we have a HUGE turnout. Not just from the C/O '89, but everyone that has been touched by someone from our class. And in the immortal words of Bartles and James, "Thanks for your support".

Hello Alumni, it's really amazing to see so many of us here and on Facebook especially. It's also amazing that 20 years have pasted. Class of 90 here and feels like just yesterday we were in school walking through those hallways. I'm looking forward to our 20 year reunion and would be willing to help anyway I can.
