MAX F. "COACH" WILSON, age 67, passed away peacefully on Sept. 27, 2004 in Montgomery, TX after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Max was born on Sept.10, 1937, in Houston, TX, to Evelyn Hall Wilson & Max F. Wilson, Sr. He graduated from Reagan High School in 1956 and from the University of Houston in 1960. He was employed by the Houston Independent School District for 37 years while coaching and teaching at Black Jr., Fondren Jr., Westbury Sr., Scarborough Sr., and Sam Houston Sr. High. Max took much pride in helping develop young minds on the playing field and in the classroom. Max was inducted into the Houston Coaches Hall of Honor in 2003. Retired in 1997 which included moving to Montgomery, TX , traveling the U.S., gardening, fishing, listening to country music and enjoying his family and many friends. Max especially enjoyed sharing in these activities with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother, father, and first born son, Marc. He is survived by his wife, Randolyn (Randy) Nicholson Wilson, son Marc Wilson and wife Diana, daughter Lisa Cooke and husband Roger, and the mother of his children Carole Ann Kesseler, step-daughter Tara Clouse and husband Craig. Grandchildren Jordan, Chandler, and McKay Wilson, Connor and Cole Cooke, and Josey and Coco Clouse. Brothers Billy Don Bradford and Fred Bradford, sister Becky Hooper. A very special thank you to Dr. Jason L., you are very special to this family and you represent the very best in your profession. And to the Lighthouse Hospice for your loving care and support. We will never forget or stop missing you. We love you, your Wife Randy, Children and Grandchildren. Loved by many, missed by all. The family will receive friends Wed., Sept. 29, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thurs., Sept. 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands with Mr. Fred Penny & Mr. Frank Varro officiating. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Cemetery Magnolia.
