Montgomery Caswell Adolf - Class Of 1988

Like many of you, I remember when Cas passed away. I don't have the details about his passing at this time. I think I still have the newspaper story. If you can help with the information about Cas's passing, please contact me with the details so that I can add it to his page. Thank You.

I was with Cass the night he died..we were at #'s....he asked me to go with him to where he unfortunately meet his demise.
I passed because something told me that I shouldn't..
My biggest wish was to always have him back in my life as a friend, and a dear one at that.
Despite the things he was involved in, he was always a wonderful person who always made an attempt to make everyone smile!

God bless you Cass Adolph...miss you old friend

I didn't want to believe it was the same Cas when I heard his name on the news. I didn't know about the funeral so never got to attend that. I do however go to his grave every time I am home. I have gone out there, left notes and flowers. I have sat out there for an hour at a time talking to him. Cas and I use to eat lunch together in the courtyard. He would pick on me for the way I would eat a popsicle, and I would pick on him for the way he would "put his hands in his pockets"! I remember one time saying to him, "Cas, do you mind?" He just looked at me and said, "What?, I can't help it my nutts itch".....LOL. He was such a doll, and I loved him. I had a crush on him at one point but I don't think he ever knew that. I just remember the many days, Cas, Melissa and I would all sit outside and laugh the entire lunch period. Cas, I miss you so much.

Some days I still can't even grasp it all! I had a few classes with him thru the years and he was just the cockiest, craziest, smartass:) person! He kept me laughing most of the time with his crazy sense of humor:) I miss him! He left our world to soon!!!!

I want to thank all of you who posted your memories of my brother. Today I stopped by the alumni reunion at Deussen Park and meet some who remembered him. It brought great joy and happiness to my heart to read your posts. I like Jason last saw my brother alive at numbers. I dropped him off there. His last words to me were "I love you bro". What you might not know was it was his twenty first birthday. Unfortunatly I found him three days later. The next several months and years were very difficult for my family. I have seen over the years the signs of those who have visited his grave site and thank GOD he made a difference and a pressence in our lives. I miss him very much and thank each of you for allowing me to share your experiences.

I find myself thinking about you often, especially when im driving and I let my mind wander back to yesteryear. I will never forget that big, beautiful smile and your warm heart.  I can still see you at homecoming with your black boots and trenchcoat coming to sit with me in the bleachers. I miss you my friend.
