Sad day for America.

I voted for the lesser of two evils. I am not proud of him, but he beats the hell out of the opposition. When I went to Sam, we believed in hard work and only wanted a chance. Gosh, how kids have changed.

Great time for America. I am very very proud of our country. Best vote since President Reagan.

I agree. It's about time we give America back to the American People. They electged who they wanted to be President of the UNITED STATES. So the whiners need to get over it.

I'm happy with the election.

I refused to put Satan's Bride in the White House. I'll be watching what the new guy does. If he goofs around he'll be hearing from me. I love writing those guys in office. Just to let them know I for one are keeping an eye on them. Best to everyone who voted.

That's why I didn't put Satan's Bride in the White House.

All I am going to say is that we have 320 million people in The United States and these are the only two that we get to pick from?   The United States is OUR country and we all need to stand and support OUR President.

I wrote another long post but the submit button wasn't there. It was a rant on the election. Anyway...I will support Trump until he shows me a reason not to. He just might be the one to save this country.

Here's the deal folks. Be thankful we live in a nation where we can pick our leaders. If you are not aware of the FACT, racism, hate, and prejudice exists in every race, and society. Ask the folks in Cuba, N. Korea, China, Vietnam Nam etc how they feel about their leadership. If you feel the  leadership is a failure, then get off your ASS, and vote. Do not be a whiner !  What if you lived in a country where the leadership is passed down to an offspring ? Or is changed by a military coup ???  Millions of people in this world do not have a choice, millions of women are oppressed, and treated like livestock. I thank GOD each and everyday I was born an American, neither Afro, Mexican, Asian. Just a plain old AMERICAN.

This is a day in which we give a heartfelt thanks to those who served. In our generation there was a draft and everyone on this site who were drafted actually had a choice. Some took that choice and ducked their tail while running to Canada. The brave and patriots stayed and served for that I give you my respect. As a veteran our country gave me much more than I could ever give it. I have two sons that volunteered for the infantry. They fought and came home, for that I thank God almighty and I hurt for the families of those who did not return. God bless our servicemen and  our vererans. God bless The United States of America.

THANK YOU TO ALL THAT SERVED and/or TO ALL PRESENTLY SERVING OUR COUNTRY!

THANK YOU ALSO TO ALL PAST & PRESENT FIRST RESPONDERS!

This morning I was going to work and went by McDoalds for my McMuffin.  As I entered the parking lot to the drive-thru I saw a elder gentleman come out of McDonalds and moving slowly with his walker to his truck.  I stopped, giving him ample room to slowly make his way across the drive-thru lane.  When he was at his truck, he turned to me & saluted, thanking me for let him cross safely to his truck.  Needless to say, on Veteran's Day, that was very touching.  Brought a couple of tears & I waved to him.  Wish I had thought to salute him back, but it took me by such surprise for someone in his condition to salute me for just letting him move safely thru the parking lot.  If hubby had been with me, he would have insisted that I stop & let traffic back up so he could have shook his hand & thanked him as I feel he probably is a veteran.

Good looking nephew Judy!

Eugene Knox #2752 and Judy Maxwell #2753.  I want to thank both of you for responding to my post.  it was very sweet of you.  I have to let you know, I am no longer shy and haven't been for quite a few years.  My work history was mainly in Human Resources and you cannot be shy in that position.   I have friends now who don't believe I was ever shy.  After I graduated, I was no longer intimidated by the kids who were in my class.  That is when I was able to come out of my shell.  Judy, I will try to convince my hubby to go to the next reunion.  we'll see.  Again, thank you for caring.

America! Land of the free. We ALL have the right to our opinion. We ALL have the privalage to vote. Not like many of the other countries I have been to. Why is that? Because of our Juda- Christian herratage! We understand that God almighty is in control, not the Republicans or the Democrats or the Independents but GOD Himself. I served 4 years in the U S Marine Corps. I flew as a Crew Chife on a C H 46 helicopter for one of those years in Vietnam. I flew over 70 combat missions and saw more than my share of bloodshead, burned bodies, and dead buddies. What I did not understand at the time was that God had His hand on me and He is in control, not us. No matter how hard we try or how hard we fight, we will not change His plan. So what is "His plan?" Well when I was 30 years old I found out. Someone told me that God gave His only begotten son to the world and his name was Jesus. They told me that Jesus gave his life for me and my sins. They told me that the difference between him giving his life and my buddies giving their lives in Nam, was that Jesus came back to life again! He concurred death, the grave, and Hell. He didn't do it to be president or to win an argument. He did it because He genuinely loves us all. He loves you, the republicans, the democratic, the independents, the Americans, and the Vietnamese. John 3:16. So while others are screaming for God to bless America, I am humbly asking you, America, to Bless God!

I agree with you totaly. We all have the opportunity in this great country to our own opinions. We choose our choices hopefully with the guidance of God in our hearts. I pray every evening for all I know and also for our great country. As our currency says, 'In God We Trust". We as a nation need to continue to trust God in our daily lives. He always makes it better. God bless you all and have a great day.

I thank God for fellow believers like so many on here. I pray for those who either didn't get proper upbringing or just refuse to accept Gods love. THANK you for your service everyone.

Thank God he is in control even when we are out of control. God gave us all a choice. He knew you before you were born (Jeremiah 1-5.) He knew what choice you would make but is everlasting in his promise and is long suffering for you to accept him as Lord and Saviour. (John 3:16). As we get older and time is slipping by, it is not too late to repent and ask him for his forgiveness and accept him. May your life be full of joy in him. Accept him now

Roger - I love the term Satan's Bride. A truly accurate description.

#2774

Randy, God provided a magnificent plan for all of us.  We may not believe that when we go thru struggles, but it is true.  God gives us valleys so that we can appreciate the mountaintops.

I am so thankful for all the people that voted.  It shows the nation has a voice, and we spoke clearly.  Now everyone needs to get behind our new President.  Borrowing from a post I saw on facebook - "I hope Donald Trump is a good President.  Wanting him to fail is like wanting the pilot to crash the plane we are ALL on. REMEMBER THAT!"

2767 - You are absolutly right. - Ask the folks in Cuba, N. Korea, China, Vietnam Nam etc how they feel about their leadership. That's what make our nation the envy of other nations. The way our nation was going, the world view of our country was chaning to the negative.

At least in our country we have the right to choose someone we feel will help our country to improve. I will be supporting our new persident. As I citizen of this fine country that it my personal duty. As a Veteran, I was sworn to obey the Commander in Chief even if I didn't agree with his decisions. I was in during Nam, '70-'72. I did as I was instructed.

I wish the best to all I knew at Sam and  those before and after me. I posted a  pic and statement on Facebook the day before the election, that God PLEASE bless our country, Amen.

When I was but a child my Mother taught me a pray to say ever night before I go to sleep. I still say that prayer.

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep,

If I should died before I wake,

I pray the Lord my soul to take.

This I ask in Jesus name,

Amen.
