CLASS OF 1969 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ

WOW!!! 50 Years has passed us by. It goes to show you LIFE is so short and we all need to enjoy every minute of every day that GOD gives us.

For those who have lost loved ones such as a spouse,a relative or a friend. Grieving is inevitable but remember HONOR their death by becoming a strong person and make something of your life. They will look down on you and feel proud of having the privilege knowing you and you being a part of their life when they were alive.

For those that served in our military. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. What a huge sacrifice you made so we as Americans can have the freedoms of living in a country so great as ours.

To those that are married soon after High School and have remained married. KUDOS TO YOU!!!
What is your secret? GOD BLESS YOU and may your marriage have many many more successful years together.

For those divorcee's. It's not the end of the world. LOVE can be found again. They say there is someone for everyone. You just have to believe that. Being single is not so bad. I raised a daughter on my own with no child support or father figure in her life. She grew up,put herself through college and has a fabulous career and wonderful husband of 15 years.

For those contemplating DIVORCE. WOMEN- Good MEN are hard to find {trust me} and MEN- Younger is not always better [trust me} Been there done that.

I have 3 PRINCIPALS that I live by now.
STOP---LOOK---LISTEN

STOP-To reflect on what you want in a relationship.
LOOK- At ways you and your partner can strengthen your relationship through communication.
LISTEN- To your partner to develop an understanding of their needs and desires.

If you follow these 3 STEPS your marriage might be worth saving. If not, you can still LIVE-LOVE and LAUGH just in a different way. Be free spirited . Not to WILD. Not to TAME. Find a comfort level and you will be fine. Try to remember always spend quality time with your family. Don't let work consume all your time. Days are too short and time has a way of slipping by. You will never get that time back you could have shared with loved ones. Finally and most importantly PUT GOD FIRST in your life and everything else will fall into place. PRAY and HE will LISTEN.

CLASS OF 69 I am so looking forward to seeing my fellow classmates at the reunion in Sept. There might be some that have a little gray or a lot of gray. There might be some that gained weight or lost weight. There might be some that are handicapped. There might be some that are more out going and not so shy. There even might be some that are successful, rich or poor but most importantly the CLASS of 69 has the opportunity to share all their memories because we will be together.

Any words of wisdom?

Put GOD first in whatever you do and He will bless you

Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.

The moment that stands out in my life was on Mother's day 1990 when my daughter and myself were baptized. KERRY SHOOK DID THE HONORS. He since has left my church and moved on the The Fellowship of the Woodlands. Dana and I were the first mother and daughter he had baptized and that I will never forget as long as I live.
