Rex was a close and treasured friend.  He was the chief of Staff at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA when we reunited.  My youngest son, Taylor Webb, graduated from Riverside. Taylor's world schrunk when Rex told him who he was.  Rex was a true American Hero which is not a surprise to any who grew up with him.  I was fortunate to speak with him before he crossed over.  He was strong as he always was.  One of the best gone and we will miss him.
