Primarily due to the oversight of the Good Lord, I have dodged many "bullets" over the past years. Somehow, I am still standing. I must say that my life has been a full one of many ups and downs and ins and outs. It has never gone according to plan which, I guess, is either good or bad depending upon one's viewpoint (or what the plan was). Disappointments have been many--most due to my own failings, although the confluence of bad decisions, bad timing and bad luck will sink most any ship. On the other hand, I've been blessed with many high points--some of my own making, but many because of God's light shining upon me.
Like many, I've gone from the penthouse to the outhouse on more than one ocassion--it is a short walk as most who have made the trip know. Throughout every success and failure, I've fortunately remained a passionate person about life--in particular; my faith in God, love of family and friends, athletics, writing, German shepherd dogs and Cadillac cars. I wish long life and happiness to each of my classmates and look forward to the reunion.

High school was by far the greatest experience of my life--and that's saying something if anyone even remotely knows anything about the things that have transpired in my more than adventureous time on the planet.
As I'm sure it was for all of us, there were many things that happened during that period of time that were not always the best--memories that are best forgotten (if only such was possible, yeah?) But the good things, the good times and the good friends of Hugo High School--those are the memories that have stayed with me throughout the years.
I can truthfully say that, if I had a choice of where to have spent my youth, I wouldn't make any change whatsoever from Hugo, Oklahoma.
