My prayers go out to James Matthews and his family. His wifes mother is gravely ill. Due to her illness James will not be able to attend the reunion and sends his regrets and well wishes. We will miss him at the reunion and we all know how important family is. Please put him and his family in your prayers.

We recognize that the enemy to our soul desires to steal our joy, to rob us of our blessings and to usurp Your glory. We pray that you tear down his strong holds. Remove the strong holds of sorrow, grief, pain, suffering and doubt. We give these to you in exchange for Your promise of the oil of gladness.

Hold my mule so I can shout. Man I am really excited! If friday don't hurry and get here I am going to miss it because of a heart attach, God Forbid!

Let us all be on one accord, at 7:00am friday morning let us all pray this reunion be the success we have planned and the beginning of something special. I am already thinking about when will we do this again.

I have been practicing my dance steps and been lifting weights to be prepared to pick up thoses who fall on their ....trying to out dance me.

Willard, Rex, Jimmie, Sandra, Silvia, Barbara get ready get ready get ready....the dance challenge is on!

Sandra I see Brenda has still not signed on. See you there.

To those of you who for unseen reasons that won't be there, my prayers go out to you and yours that peace be with you in your time of the hour, God is still on the throne and he knows your needs. Use him he's there for you, waiting!

BECAUSE OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS AND BENEVOLENCE OF BISHOP PERCY GOLDEN, ROBERT GOLDEN, DAVID THOMAS AND OTHERS WE ARE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE A SMALL NUMBER OF PEOPLE FROM THE COMMUNITY AT THE PIC NIC WHO HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS AND RELATIVES ASSOCIATED WITH THE REUNION AT NO COST. ORIGINALLY THIS WAS $5 FOR ADULTS AND $3 FOR KIDS. WE WILL DO THIS, KEEPING IN MIND THAT OUR PRIMARY COMMITMENT IS TO OUR REUNION PARTICIPANTS. Hello Everyone,

I was so hoping to see everyone at this reunion, but it will not happen. My beloved husband, best friend and love of my life died unexpectedly last Sunday after an emergency hospitalization for bacterial meningitis. He came out of five days in ICU, and was doing fine, then transferred to the regular hospital floor. He was sitting up, walking talking, smiling and greeting visitors. Then on Sunday night he died - they think it was a blood clog to the lungs. We had a service here in Nevada on Thursday, and on this Saturday I will be in Pittsburg, PA with his family attending a service for him. Please keep me in your prayers. This is a hard journey and I cannot make it without prayer.

I wish you all a very happy reunion this weekend.

Just wanted to again thank the reunion committee for putting together a reunion to remember. Everything was excellent. For those of you unable to attend, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but....YOU MISSED IT!!!!!!
To the committee, I know you are tired, tired, and more tired but I have one last request, Can you please put together a packet on how to give a successful reunion for only $50.00. I'll like to pass that information on to my family reunion host city members (smile). Our cost is usually triple that amount with fewer activities, and it keeps going up yearly. After leaving the Social Sat. night, I felt like running to my car and yelling to my husband, start the car, start the car (Ikea commercial). GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!

This was a wonderful weekend and Edith is so right when she said that those that were not here missed a great time. To the committee again You all did a wonderful job and To all of our classmates it was such a blessing to see everyone, everytime I think of the time that we shared together this weekend my heart get so full of Joy. I pray that God will keep each and everyone of you until we meet again.
