To all the classmates that didn't get a copy of the reunion video, I'm on a natural high all over again. Girtha, you are right you all gotta check it out; what a keepsake to have. Diane Martin, I didn't get a chance to see you, and didn't know who you were behind those Dolcer Gabbana sunglasses or whatever your fancy, until Doris Farrell introduce you to the camera. I see you were working the shirley temple curls, look real cute (smile).

James Grant, and Quinnie Lee ya'll sure do keep it real.

P.S. the picnic music was on point.

My condolence to the Holiday and Pearce Family as well. I would have loved to see my old childhood friend Jerome (Joseph Pierce) that's what we used to call him. I recall that even as a child he showed a very quiet strength when his mother, Miss Martha, died. The night of her funeral I keep saying to him Jerome are you okay and he said I'm okay and we continued to play. It's strange what comes to the mind at certain times, but I believe it's all for a reason...to strengthen, to settle and to comfort. That's what memories do.

So to all of you who are going through bereavement at this time, please remember and share your memories.

"Finally, my brothers, fill your minds with things that are true, honest and just. Think about things that are noble, pure and lovely. Focus on good reports about others. If any good has happened or there's any reason to praise man or God, think about those things". Philippians 4:8 (Clear Word edition)

Donald (Donnie ) Waters (1970) (1970)

I attended Mr. Holloways funeral saturday, it was inspirational. Everyone spoke highly of him and the things he represented. The most astonishing things was his oldest son was a replica of him. I was amazed of how much they looked alike. It was as if he came back as a longer version. The way Mr. Holloway would stretch his eyes when he talks they both do the same thing. RIP!

Within the next week, Sylvia, Barbara and myself will have a meeting to close out what we thought was a wonderful reunion. We hope you feel the same way too. Also during that meeting we will discuss.

1. If we should have another reunion?
2. When should we have another reuion?
3. Who will chair and co-chair the reunion?
4. Who not to get to do the video!!!!

These are just a few of the things to be discussed.

We would like for you to post your comments regarding the subject. now is the time for you to be heard regarding who, what where and when. now is the time to let someone know what your interest are. If there is anything you want to do, anything you want changed or added, now is the time. So lets all put our heads together and get ready for "Let's make It Happen Part II........

We would also like to see some other classes host a reunion. Surely 68-76 are'nt the only important years ?

Willard Dudley(1971 ) (1971) The number of people that would fall into that category is small. Although someone could put together a reunion, don't expect anything to big. My suggestion would be to find a reason to participate in someone elses reunion, whether thats the fact that you either attended 144 or Fletcher. Keeping in mind that the years of our reunion are 1968-1976 and for a reason.

we have got to keep this website alive .sylvia as soon as the dream team come up with a date lets put up the count down. i know that kept me going and we reached it before i could get myself together.i am still on an emotionally high as i think the rest of us are lets keep it going.you know by now i like to be involved.give me a task.i will continue with the PSAs. my mission is to stay in touch with the GA crew to keep them alive and doing an event with them during the off season if the reunion take a year's break.i would like other regionals to do the same.i like the fact that Larry hooked up with the co-chairMAN when in town.this is what family is all about.I love u all.

IF ANYONE HAS A FAMILY MEMBER THAT IS PREPARING FOR AN UPCOMMING EVENT ,RUNNING FOR AN OFFICE, RECIEVING SOMETHING LET US KNOW IT WAS HARD TO TALK ABOUT THESE THINGS AT THE REUNION,AND WE REALLY WANT TO SHARE YOUR JOY, WE WERE LIKE KIDS AT A TOY STORE, TRYING TO SEE EVERY BODY,WE RODE ACROSS THE ROAD,AND SOME OF OUR MEMORIES HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH GROWTH, NO MATTER IT IS STILL HOME, I HEARD THAT OUR PRESDENT WILL BE AT THE MAYPORT BASE VIA THE NEWS WE WERE LIKE WE LIVED NEAR THERE. TO EVERYONE THAT BOUGHT THEIR PARENTS AND MY LOVE MATTIE LOU UPCHURCH TO SHARE IN THE REUNION THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE LOVE.NOV.16 ASST.COACH BUTCH ANTHONY AND THE TAVARES BASKETBALL TEAM WILL KICK OFF THEIR FIRST GAME FOR THE SEASON IN MT DORA FLA. OUR GRANDSON PLAYS ON THE VARSITY TEAM HE HAS A 3.5 GPA IN HIS CLASS AS A SOPMORE HE IS RANKED 25 AS A SG IN AAU HIS RANKING IS 5TH,I'M NOT SURE IF YOU ALL KNEW THAT BA AND I ADOPTED HIS SISTER HATTIE OLDEST BOY.
