Janet and Grant family, I have no words that can be said to ease the pain of losing someone you love, but I know a savior that has the power to do all things. His name is Jesus and he will be there when we all think the pain has gone. He will wipe away your tears and bring joy back into you heart, if you just trust him.
Booty, Janet and I go way back. I remember him telling me that he liked Janet and I thought he was crazy, thinking that her dad would never let him talk to her or even come by to see her. But he knew what he wanted so he got his act together and did what it took to get the love of his life. He knew that she was his Queen and he did not care what the obstacles were he was willing to go the extra mile. I can remember how much he changed to get to know her and how much he talked about Janet. We were very good friends and we spent a lot of time together until he met Janet. We start spending less and less time together I knew then she was the one. Even though the years passed and we saw very little of each other it never changed. When we saw each other he was always the same, never a time when I saw him did it seem like a long time between greetings. He made it seem like it was just yesterday and he was always smiling and joking about something. At the reunion he was really enjoying the time to meet old friends, smiling and joking about something. This guy will really be missed, Booty Grant!
