Sheila Davis (1975 ) (1975)

Thank you Father God for this Day!

To all of us who blog and those who view! I am getting excited about the upcoming reunion.

Chairs:

I have prepared a flyer to distribute on behalf of our class reunion.

On the home page it does not give a phone number to contact. Please provide the contact information so I can add this to the flyer draft, prior to my sending the first draft to you for approval and later fb and twitter; distributions.

Note: I am shifting to a new email for privacy proctection, Please note and send all further personal emails to sdn2god@gmail.com

Okay:  let's turn this site back into a cheerful and welcoming, looking forward to come to site on a daily basis. Only we can do this.

Honestly, I am sorry if I offend anyone with my statement.

I appreciate the sharing of information regarding our losses, however, there is Joy to be Shared as Well.  I stopped visting and posting because I would feel so sad when I came to the site. We are all Children of God and we go through the good and bad to make us strong.

My newest baby grandaughter Taliah; brings me so much Joy! my shoulder may hurt for not wanting to put her down, however that love and joy and I had to share that with you!

It's the simple things in life that makes us Smile!

I love to Smile and make people Smile.

My and perhaps Your time is now as "Today Matters" Let's Continue the Legacy!

Class of 75 are you Out There!  HOLLA!

Ready to Take the Lead!!

My Essenyce

Sometimes the site seems a little sadder than other times because that's what we choose to report or talk about. Be-that-as-it may,  what is reported is a fact of life.  Take for instance Sylvia's 14 year old is driving her crazy.   That's what 14 year olds do.  Barbara is getting married in September, lucky her, and a new grand-baby on the way any day now.  As-for me,  My God-daughter just graduated from high school.  Miss Florida High.    I could'nt make the graduation, I hope my gift will ease the pain of me not being there.   Life is not about what  we are confronted with , its about how we deal with it.

*check out my nephew "the mad violinist" on youtube.

Willard,

I appreciate your feedback.  What's the name of your nephew?

The memories you mentioned are great.   Heads up!, there's an after school event for kids and tweens this saturday 11:00am. RLMCHC, Jax Bch., not sure on the end time. I just found out last Saturday at the Anniversary celebration.    I have to ask are any of you getting Email regarding events there?  I would love to see you if you are able to make it.

I watch this tv station VH1 soul and it's nice, here's a thought.  What if we all agree on taking one of those video dances with theme song and all learn and perform at the reunion.

Me I like this one; R. Kelly "Step in the name of Love" .

Share your thoughts!

Have a Blessed Evening!

Yep! It's getting close to that time, and yes my eldest daugther just got back from a five city five week tour/course in international studies in China and will complete her double major degree this December. FYI China is 12 hrs. ahead of the U.S.  and a long 18 hr. flight.  Now she is so jet lagged because her equalibrium is way off however, she's glad to be back on U.S. soil.

P.S. Somebody tell me why the babies in China don't wear pampers, when they gotta go they just go.  As Rodney (Bubba) Powell would say "Go figure". lol

It's a lot easier to smile than to wear that old frown.  Do you have a smile for someone today?

06/16/11 01:00 PM #1274

Thomas Wharton (1971 ) (1971)

I was saddened to hear of Willie's passing. When his family first moved to the beach, he lived around the corner from the hill, so we got to hang out a lot after school. He taught me to play "Stand by me" on their piano and long division was tough for me, but he made it easy. My life is fuller for having known him, this man of God. I am so happy for him. He has gone to his great reward. We, on the other hand, still have work to do and so we move on with confidence in the lord and our loved ones to see us through. You must know I do visit this site often. I read your words of support and encouragement. I laugh with you and I see how time has refined us in ways we can't yet define except to say we've changed for the better and wish only the best for one another. I may not have anything to say, but I'm always here and when I'm not, my thoughts are. Continue to take care of each other, God willing and the creek don't rise, perhaps I'll see you in the fall.

Thomas Wharton (1971 ) (1971)

Every day is father's day, just ask any dad. Though some kids are a challenge, they're still the best we've ever had.
Weather your kids are grown and gone or still living at home. We never hesitate to demonstrate our love, we always pick up the phone.
We're on their side and we take great pride in our sons and daughters. Any man can father a child, but it takes a real man to be a father.
Father's day is our way of putting the spotlight on us. So take a bow, relax for awhile. God knows we've earned their trust.
And so, it is appropriate we have the seahorse as our humble mascot. For it is the males of this species who bears the offspring. And like it or not, that's hot.
We're always there for them, come what may. So to all you male seahorses out there... Happy Father's Day!

Barbara Campbell (Williams) (1973)

This year I am at a place I have never been, I can not race to be the first to call to wish my dad a happy Father's Day.

However, I will take the same effort to cherish the memories of the great man I called Daddy.

I want to take this time to wish all the fathers and the men that stand in the gap for missing fathers a VERRRRY HAPPPPY FATHER'S DAY.

Willard Dudley(1971 ) (1971)

To all our classmates, friends and visitors:  We are running into a little dilema.  Even if you have not paid, we need to know if you plan attending the reunion.  Last time attendance was overwhelming and we need to know how many people to prepare and plan for this time.  So, all we need you to do is when you come on line, you only need to do it once, say: I plan to attend the reunion or I don't plan to attend the reunion. You don't have to explain why.  Thats it.  We need your help!

06/24/11 02:37 PM #1280

Lerexford (Rex) Easterly (1975 ) (1975)

Good evening everyone and a Happy belated Father's Day to our Earthly Kings!

I thank God for this day.

Sylvia, I congratulate you; Professor Martin and online, God is an Awesome God; allowing your career  to flow that way for you now.

Okay Chairs, let me know about the flyer so we can utilize our communication resources and get more communication back from the others.

Again it is open for modifications.

Thomas, I would love to get your critique and revisions on the flyer. If you're interested send me your email. I am not sure if Zig has one, however I'd liked you to share this request with him as well.   my email is SDN2GOD@gmail.com or SGG4GOD@yahoo.com  904-514-4662 is the new cell number.

Gigi, Rex What's Up!  Now ya'll know we gotta step up the pace more, as well as Rex, ending RKelly's last stepping from the video.   HollA!  Ya'll with me on that.

Reggie, Chime in anytime!  His company and website is Awesome! How about with approval from chairs your band play a  set of a chosen song (theme) for the event!

Come on everybody what ya'll think about that request?

Classmates, it would be a crowd getter, Ya'll know we all think we can still cut it!  LOL!

Collards, I love em!  I like Kale too.

Barbara, those grands are truly blessings and they wear you out and bring your joy and make you smile, What lil Angels.

Willard, I liked the idea you posted earlier about bringing pictures repeat that for me again; thanks.

Get with Barbara, chairs on the flyer and I think that posting it on the electronic communications will definitely boost participation.  I do have a lot of the beach member's perhaps kids and friends of my kids who families were in the class on Facebook; OKAY.

Let's Do It Again!

Good Day!

Lerexford (Rex) Easterly (1975 ) (1975)

Well all righty now! Emma my sister Kim, does the same on Sunday's when she can get a good bushel.

I got you Shelia on that steppin tip regardless of my two left feet. lol

Sylvia, handle your business lady. I have a friend of mine in Orlando that's an online instructor she says she loves it, and it gives her a lot of flexibility in her schedule.

Now Sylvia, can you put out a APB on your brotherinlaw Tim, and ask him to plug into the site.  The last I heard he's was living in Ohio. Am I right about it?

Jimmy Gamble, can you do the same for your cousin Edward Ruffin

Just trying to reach out,

Thanks a bunch
