My condolences to the Dillard family for the lost of your father. We all grew up together.  My dad and Deacon Dillard were very good friends.   May God be with you in your time of grief.

Barbara Campbell (Williams) (1973)

We have lost another Atlantic Beach ICON.

My father's last request was for me to take him to see Mr. Homer.  They had so much fun that night.  My heart is heavy for our class mates. May God bless and keep you is my prayer.  All of us that grew up in Friendship, I think he was the last Deacon from our early days.

Yes, Barbara I agree with you.  To the Dillard family I send my condolences to you all.  I can remember Mr. Homer always being a hard worker and always had a warm smile for everyone. He was one of the many people back in the day who worked hard to be successful.  He will be missed.

I am keeping the Dillard family in prayer.  Mr. Dillard as I remember him was a very hard working person and kind and always willing to help a hand to assist whoever needed it.

To the Family,  take it one day at a time and God will help you to see this through.

I will continue to pray  for your Strength and Guidance.

I spoke with Zig .  He and his family are doing reasonably well.  He told me that the family, although taking it hard are rallying together for support and trying to make sense of it all.  He said that you look around the corner but you never expect something like this to happen to a famiy member.  Very little information is available at this time. He ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers.

Hello all,

I do not normally send personal emails, but I wanted to share this special one. My oldest baby, Kortney is receiving an award at her commencement next month. Kortney is a double major; Sociology and Journalism with a concentration in Communications. We are so proud of her.

From Kortney:

Out of 19 finalists, I was selected as the recipient of the Nell Hamilton Trotter Award! Here is some information about the award:

The Nell Hamilton Trotter Award recognizes an outstanding commitment to student involvement and is the highest student leadership award presented by the university. For nearly 40 years, Nell Hamilton Trotter was a loyal member of the Georgia State University community. She was the first Dean of Women at Georgia State and served for many years as a dedicated faculty member. Dean Hamilton Trotter personified the ideal qualities that we expect students, especially student leaders, to emulate.

P.S.  Thanks Roxanne, for the postive comment on our newly launch web site via facebook.

Roxanne we do thank you. So with that being said come one come many and see what a new look will do for you. Visit our new hair extension web site at http://www.radianthairextensions.com or tell a friend to tell a friend about us.

This is the deal - For a limited time only until the new yr 2012, for every new order place on our web site I'm donating $5 to the  Rhoda L Martin Cultural Heritage Center fund.

Lilly Thomas Sullivian I will be contacting you upon our first order so that I can setup some type of payment arrangement/transaction.  I'm just trying to find ways (creative thinking) to have those who chose to do so place a order from the above web site; which inturn would allow me to give back to the RLM organization.  Hey, I think this would be a win win situation.  I welcome your feedback.

P.S. The picture of my daugther is sporting the 10inch extensions of the straight hair and loving it.

Thanks,

 Rex,

CONGRATULATIONS KORTNEY!  She is headed for GREAT THINGS! She is really an inspiration. I would love it if she came to my school to give a motivational speech to the students here.  You and Mom did a good job!  I look to see her names in lights!  Tell  Kortney to keep up the good work.   Good Job! Good Job!

Thanks Sylvia,

I'll speak with her to see if she can allocate time out of her busy schedule to give you a call, being that she will be finishing up exams this week.  She's pretty darn good with public speaking to the masses. Now if we can get the youngest one to follow suit. LOL.
