My condolences to the Upchurch clan who lost family member Mattie Lou Upchurch Hall today.  Almost all of us will know someone that she is related to or were classmates with. Just to name a few, she is the Aunt of Lisa, Twila, Gerald, Freddie and Jafora Dove,  Jimmy and Prisilla Fells (Gamble and Calvin Brooks).  The Aunt of Cookie and Tonja Upchurch Boney, The sister of Ms Mary Francis Dove, Margie (class of 70), Bubba Upchurch.  I left a lot of people out, this is a big family.

I know they're going to want to know what reunion Shelia?  Well, the Jax Beach 144 Grand Reunion is going to be October 25th-27th 2013.  The event is being hosted by the Rhoda Martin Center.  All information and details will be posted this weekend, so stay tuned.  Barbara, Sylvia and myself are already making plans for the weekend. cant wait to see my old friends.

FYI:  The Jacksonville Beach 144 web site will end January 2014.  We sincerely hope that everyone that has participated and made postings over its tenure has enjoyed the experience and the ability to connect with old classmates and friends as much as we have.
