Thank all of you guys so much. Roy kinda scared the bejeezus out of me, but I am needing to know what to expect. I have asked Mary to update this site on my progress. I'll get back as soon as I can. Thanks again.-------Billy

Hey, Man,
Sorry to hear about your problem, but I'm glad to finally know that at least you have a heart. Best wishes, Good Buddy, I hope everything goes well. I've been off the internet the past week due to being in a Gospel Meeting in Virginia. I am now in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, warming up for another one here before heading back home to Texas. I'll be praying for you up here among all these Yankees, and I'm sure you will come through it well.

Hey, Gene, I do appreciate those prayers, although I don't know if a Church of Christ preacher knows how to pray for a back-slidden Baptist. Thanks.

O.K. Billy Ray I hope that the surgery is behind you by now. We have all been praying for your speedy recovery.
What you really need is a good dose of that Sandy Creek water you grew up on. I have moved back on the creek and it has done wonders. Hurry and get well & please keep us posted.

Does anyone have any word on Billy Ray? I am assuming no news is very good news. Can't wait until he's on here again talking to us!

we have so much to all catch up on!!!

Big Hugs,
Sue

I have not heard from Billy Ray or Mary since the surgery. As soon as I do, I will forward info to everyone on my known email list. Keep him in your prayers.

I was told today by the Lufkin Memorial Hospital that Billy Chambliss was dismissed earlier today. Hopefully, we will hear even more good news soon. Keep him in your prayers.

Well guys, I DID make it through and have the worst behind me already.I had asked Mary to keep you informed, but the day after my surgery, her mother had to have surgery also. She is living with us so she has been pretty busy with her and me.
All the doctors concerned were impressed with the way I came through and have assured me that unless I die, I should live a lot longer.
We both appreciate your prayers and best wishes. Thank y'all!
I will say that it has been moderately painful, but as Roy will attest, it is not more than you can bear. If any of you need to have this done, I urge you to just go ahead and get it done.

Billy Ray,

Great to hear that you're doing better. Just keep up the good work and do what the Dr. says. Prayers were answered and we'll continue to pray for you to have speedy recovery.

THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU
for all the prayers for my precious new granddaughter, Sidney Lane, born Wednesday, November 12. She got out of ICU this morning (Saturday, 11/15), due to all the wonderful thoughts and prayers that have been sent out to her.

I have posted new pictures and I will replace with new ones. Peyton, her big sister, is getting to hold her for the first time this morning. That is a very exciting moment - she's been patiently waiting for 9 months to meet her little sister and she didn't quite understand why she had to look at her through a glass window!!!

I appreciate your prayers, support and concerns through this very scary time.

I can't wait to see everyone at our reunion and give hugs in person.

Love You,
Sue

HEY, ROY,DID YOU EVER LEARN HOW TO SWIM?

12/07/08 08:42 PM #26

Roy Isom

Never did, but I try to run with a better class of life guard these days. Just kidding! Except for that day (which was also the day I got shocked while adjusting the electric clock - seems I was standing in water inside the concession stand), I really thought we had a good time cleaning up those pools in the summer.

Recently, I got Ira Glenn to admit that Coach Garner hired him just to clean the commode/urinal area because he lacked the sense of smell and he knew the rest of us would not feel strongly about doing our best work.

Did Coach pay you in $1.00 bills like he did me?

MERRY CHRISTMAS and a VERY HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR to all . . . I am so grateful and blessed every day of my life but this time of year really seems to magnify all those blessings.

I wish you and your family wonderful times this season and always remember why we celebrate Chrismas and all the beautiful blessings in your life.

I cannot wait to see everyone - we've got years and years to catch up on!

Big Hugs to all,

Cary, that sounds just wonderful, as I am sitting here in my house with the thermostat set on 72 deg. Actually, it is turning colder as I write. It is down to 64 already.I like to think that I love the snow and cold, but as I get older, I realise it is just wishful thinking. It takes about 30 minutes for me to get all of it that I want.

Carey, post some pics of that white Christmas.
