Comments:

Have been on the Jenkins Independent School Board for about 21 years. Have seen many changes but now as a one school system I am excited about the new school year. Go "CAVS". I am also a member of the Kentucky School Board Association and I am finishing my 2 year appointment as President. This association represents the largest group of elected officials in the state of Kentucky and it's sole responsibility is to provide training and services to KY school board members so they can better provide for the education of all children in Kentucky's public schools.

Durward and I grew up going to school , playing ball, swimming, and camping together. We had lots of fun laughing and playing .  Durward wanted to go humting with me and P-nut ,so we took him to Fort Knox deer hunting, that was one of the best times I have ever had with Durward .  I did not kill a thing that trip because I was laughing at Durward so hard when the deer came by I couldn't see to shoot them. He was a fun person to be around , always kept me laughing. I will miss you dear friend. I know you are singing with the angles

Just to let you know that I think about your mother and father quite often. Debbie and I enjoyed being their neighbors.---Durward
