Charles Rose - Class Of 1972

Obituary

 Charles Edward Rose, age 56, of McRoberts, Kentucky, passed away Monday March 28, 2011, at McRoberts, Kentucky.  He was born on September 15, 1954, at Fleming, Kentucky. He lived in Nevada for ten years, and the rest of his life in Letcher County, Kentucky.  He was a football star while attending Jenkins High School and received three athletic scholarships to Moorehead University, where he obtained an Associate's Degree.  Mr. Rose worked as a surveyor.

He was the son of ht late Orlin Rose, and was also proceeded in death by his sister, Ann Steely, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Siller Sexton.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Howard Rose, McRoberts, Kentucky, his mother, Mary Sexton Rose, McRoberts, Kentucky one sister, Glenda Zunda and her husband, George, Covington, Kentucky, His dog, Scout; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Toni Dotson (Carter) (1968)

Charlie was true and loyal friend.  He and my brother Greg, had been lifelong friends.  The died too soon.  Toni Carter
