Patti and I became the best of friends when she and her family moved to Jenkins. We were closer than most sisters. Never a day went by that we were together at school then on the phone in the evenings. I lost contact with her when she married and moved away, then when I married and went to Germany she had divorced and moved back to Jenkins. It was a few years after my return to Jenkins from Germany that I was told Patti had passed away. I lost someone I really cared about and still think of her often, she will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest in peace Patti, I'll never forget you.
