March 4, 2012 - Emil Arthur Cook II, 68, of Potters Fork passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Emil was the son of the late Arthur I and Edith Slone Cook. He was the widower of LaRee Kincer Cook. Surviving are 2 sons: Michael Cook of Bealeton, Virginia and Arthur "Artie" Cook III of Kingsport, Tennessee; 2 daughters: Karen Wilder of Potters Fork and Kimberly Bates of Whitesburg; 3 sisters: Lillus Campbell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lola Beck of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Pamela Cook of Seco; 7 grandchildren. Funeral: 10:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church at Pippa Passes, Kentucky with Kelly Slone, Clyde Jacobs, and others officiating. Visitaiton: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
