Roger Stallard - Class Of 1961 VIEW PROFILE

MAY 6, 1943 – AUGUST 31, 202

Roger Dale Stallard, 79 years of age, longtime Morristown Fireman and Fire Marshall passed away at his home on August 31, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anetta Joan Stallard, their daughter Christal Stallard Majure, son in law Alan Majure and grandson Chase Majure. His Sister Alice Stallard Johnson, brother in law Michael Johnson. Granddaughter Laurel Howard (Brad) and great grandchildren Ryan, Harper, and Hudson Howard. Roger had several nieces, nephews, and cousins that he dearly loved.

Roger is proceeded in death by his son, Alan Ray Stallard and his grandson SSgt. Joshua Thomas Stallard, USAF, his parents Ray and Edith Stallard, sister: Linda and brother: James.

Roger began his career as a salesman for Procter and Gamble in Washington, D.C. After years of living in that area He and Joan were ready to move back to the South. They owned Morristown Oak Leather Company making custom harness. He joined the Morristown Fire Department in 1980 and retired as Fire Marshall in 2009.

Roger was a Master Mason at Masonic Lodge 231. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird dogs, and judging field trials. He owned show racking horses and always enjoyed pleasure riding whenever time allowed. Reading and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren always made him happy.

All family and friends are welcome and encouraged to join us in celebrating Roger on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home with a reception and gathering to follow the service.

Graveside services will be Monday, Sept. 12, 2022 at
