Shelby Jean Wright Potter  Class of 1961

Shelby Jean Potter, age 69, of Belleview, FL passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was born in Pike Co., KY on September 25, 1943 and moved to Ocala, FL in 1970. Mrs. Potter was a member of Central Baptist Church, Ocala, FL. She retired from the Marion County School System after 35 years. Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband Terry Potter of Belleview, FL; son Keith (Darla) Potter of Ocala, FL; daughter Melanie (Steven) Pennell of Ocala, FL; son Jonathan (Nikki) Potter of LaGrange, KY; sisters Karen Hutchison of Ocala, Teresa Tomlin, Cecelia DeSimone and Amelia Adkins all of Lexington, KY; and 8 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Central Baptist Church, Ocala, FL on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 1pm. A visitation will also take place at the church on Tuesday from Noon until the time of the service at 1pm. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.
