We moved a lot. Rhode Island, Florida, Atlanta, New Orleans, Florida, Atlanta, Utah, Oregon, Florida, Tennessee. The second time we moved to Atlanta, we stayed 21 years. The children all call Atlanta their hometown, but they all live in Pensacola now.

Dick worked for Delta Airlines and Atlanta was Delta's home, so we stayed there for a while. We had a cabin in the North Georgia mountains for 13 years and we had a boat on the West Coast for 23 years.

Dick and I did not date in high school. We stated dating after he got his Navy Pilot's wings and I was going to college at Eastern. He was home on leave and we ran into each other at a high school basketball game. I had a date with Bobby Blevins and Dick was there with Diz Pack and Cobb Collier.
