Billie Morrislean Wright, age 83, of Jenkins, Kentucky, passed away Saturday morning, June 30, 2012, at her home. She was born on October 24, 1928, at Pound, Virginia, and was a lifelong resident of Jenkins, Kentucky. She was a mother and a homemaker, and along with her husband, owned and operated Wright’s Market for many years. She was of the Christian faith.

   She was a daughter of the late Henry Morris Dotson & Oma Kaye Short Dotson, and was also preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Dotson, Irene Gibson, and June Dotson; and a brother, Paul Dotson.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Ralph Wright, Jenkins, Kentucky; two daughters, Rebecca Kaye Swindall, Franklin, Kentucky, and Teresa Kurtz, Lexington, Kentucky; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

   Visitation will be on Monday July 2, 2012, at the Polly & Craft Funeral Home Chapel, Jenkins, Kentucky, from 6:00-9:00 pm. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday July 3, 2012, at the Dotson Cemetery, Pound, Virginia, with Chaplain Francis Truman, officiating. The funeral procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am.
