went to Harlan Voc school for a year then went into the Air Force. Spent 18 months in Taiwan and 2 years in Alaska. Worked for a finance company for a while and then moved to ohio and worked for Peabody Coal as a fire boss and mechanic for 17 years. When they closed down went to a sand & gravel plant as their safety director for about 10 years. then worked in West Va. for 3 years before my stroke. so we got our pension from UMWA.
