A memorial service for David Sheridan Howard, 73, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Shandon Baptist Church Worship Center. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. David Sheridan Howard died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Born in Jenkins, KY, he was a son of the late Arthur and Carrie Buchanan Howard. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He retired from Michelin Tire after 27 years as the Textile Division Manager and Plant Manager at Winnsboro. He was a loving father, enjoyed traveling, wood working and gardening. He was the director of his Sunday School class at Shandon Baptist Church.

Surviving is his beloved wife, Linda Peterson Howard; son, Darren Howard of High Point, NC; daughters, Michelle H. Crider and her husband, Christopher of Haymarket, VA and Kathy H. Francis; brother, Bill Howard and his wife Frances of Lexington, KY.; sisters-in-law; Sue Howard of LaPeer, MI and Phyllis Howard of Riverview, MI; four grandchildren; Amy Ryan and her husband, Lt. Joseph Ryan, Lara Crider, Anna and Grace Howard and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Howard and Donald Howard.
