I taught with Louise in Jenkins in 1963-'67.  She taught third grade and most of the time I taught fifth grade.  She used to wear a silver necklace that I admired and told her so quite frequently.  On one occasion when I bragged on her necklace again she gave it to me.  I tried to give it back to her but she would not hear of it and I still have that necklace.  She was a wonderful lady.
