Edwin Morrow ‘ Bo’ Spears Jr., 63, of Winchester, died April 29, 2013.

Born in Lexington to the late Edwin Spears Sr. and Rhudell Johnson Spears, he was a brother of the late Fred H. Spears.

Surviving are a daughter, Lauren L. Spears of Winchester; two sisters, Bertha Gay Tackett and husband Carl Rex of Ft. Blackmore, Va., and Deborah Counts and husband Mark of Big Stone Gap, Va.; two brothers,

Jimmy Spears and wife Nevida of Versailles, and William Spears and wife Linda of Lawrenceburg; companion Robin Brown of Russell Springs; an aunt, Carrie ‘Kaye’ Bentley; an uncle, Morgan ‘ Junior’ Johnson; and two half-sisters, Shiela Spears and Carrie Spears.

Funeral services were held May 3 at Carty Funeral Home in Neon. Burial was in the Johnson
