Patricia A. Lucas, 79, of Mooresburg, TN drew her last breath in this life and woke into the waiting arms of Jesus and her precious family gone before, in the early hours of Saturday, November 30, 2024, with her daughter at her side and family surrounding her. Patricia loved her Lord and made sure everyone knew it. She cherished her family and her absence will be felt for a long time to come. Patricia was a hard worker all her life. She became an LPN later in life, taking care of many women and babies at Morristown Hamblen. Being a nurse was truly her calling. After becoming disabled she loved working in her flowers and taking care of her family. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 54 years Jerry Lucas; parents, Eugene and Allene Adkins; baby sister, Oma Pennell; and brother-in-law, Phil Davidson.She is survived by her daughter Trisha Keck and son-in-law Mike Keck; grandsons, Lucas (Sierra Burroughs) Trent and Landon Trent. Also left to mourn her loss, sister Micky Davidson; brothers Sammy and Tim Adkins; sisters-in-law, Lisa and Lois Adkins; brother-in-law, Robert Pennell; bonus grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Keck and Brooke Tatman; many nephews and nieces, and a host of extended family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amedysis Hospice for their kindness, care, and dignity in taking care of Patricia.Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Mayes Mortuary with service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by Jamie Jarnigan, Daniel Jarnigan, and Bull Jarnigan. Family and friends will meet 10:15am Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Mayes Mortuary for procession to Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00am committal service.
