James Terry Richard Braddock, age 69, of  Jenkins, Kentucky passed from this life  on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born on February 9, 1949 at Payne Gap, Kentucky. Mr. Braddock served on the Jenkins School Board and Jenkins City Council.  He was also a strong supporter of the Jenkins athletics program.  Terry was very proud of his Italian heritage.

   He was the son of the late James and Iona Orender Braddock.  He was also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Bullion and by one brother, Morris Braddock.

  Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth May Collins(Shelton) of Tacoma, Virginia; two sons: William Terry Braddock of Wise, Virginia and Paul Braddock(Jennifer) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; two sisters: Linda Braddock Cumberland(Jim) of Jenkins, Kentucky and Brenda Braddock of Jenkins, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Hattie Meade, Nicholas Braddock and Taylor Braddock ; along with a host of other family and many friends to mourn his passing.

   Visitation for Mr. Braddock will be held at the Polly & Craft Funeral Home Chapel of Jenkins on Wednesday, October 24, 2018; with family viewing at 5:00 PM and public visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

    Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral chapel on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Frank Holbrook officiating.

   Interment will follow in the Braddock Family Cemetery at Jenkins, Kentucky.
