Audra Duty - Class Of 1957

 Audra Estill Duty, age 77, of Fleming-Neon, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday August 12, 2014 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, Kentucky.  Audra was born on September 29, 1936 at Sheas Fork, McRoberts, Kentucky.  He served in the United States Army for three years, from 1957-1960.  Audra attended Fleming-Neon Church of God, where he loved to sing and worship for many years.  He enjoyed teaching the Adult Sunday School Class. 

   Audra was a son of the late Carl and Maxie Ramey Duty.  He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bea Trent and Janie Hampton; and four brothers, Albert Duty, Don Duty, Billy Duty and Tony Duty.

   Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Dean Potter Duty, of Fleming-Neon, Kentucky; a son, Kevin Anderson Duty, of Cromona, Kentucky; a grandson, Caleb Andrew Duty, of Cromona, Kentucky; three sisters, Betty Bush, of Cocks Creek, Kentucky, Bonnie Kriegh, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bernice Evans, of Middleburg, Florida; three brothers, Kirby Duty, Frank Duty and Kenneth “Kenny” Duty, of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. 

   Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2014 after 6:00 PM and on Thursday August 14, 2014 after 11:00 AM at the Fleming-Neon Church of God.  Funeral services will be held on Friday August 15, 2014 at the church with Freddy Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery, Ermine, Kentucky.
