Patsy Rae Rose Yonts, age 78, of Neon, Kentucky passed from this life at the Lonesome Pine Hospital of Big Stone Gap, Virginia on Friday, Otober 18, 2019. She was born on June 28, 1941 in McRoberts, Kentucky. Patsy loved spending time with her family and being playful with her grandchildren. She enjoyed canning, cooking and sewing. She also liked to shop. She will be greatly missed.

    She was preceded in death by her parents: Elbert and Ethel Belcher Rose; her husband, Donald Ray Yonts; two daughters: Sandy Yonts and April Elkins; two brothers: Billy Rose and Harold Rose; one granddaughter, Abigail Rose Milam.

     Survivors include:  two granddaughters: Alpha Dawn Hall of Centerville, North Carolina and Holly Angela Baker (Derek) of Corbin, Kentucky; three sisters: Yvonne Pratt of Abingdon, Virginia, Wanda Pratt (Billy) of McRoberts, Kentucky and Judy Bowen (Doug) of McRoberts, Kentucky; two brothers: Bobby Rose (Kat) of Frankfort, Ohio and Buford Rose (Jackie) of Glen Burnie, Maryland; two great granddaughters: Emma Baker and Allie  Baker;  along with a host of other family and many friends.

     Visitation for Mrs. Yonts will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Carty Funeral Home of Neon with public visitation from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

      Funeral services will be conducted from the Carty Funeral Home on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Minister, Kenneth Holbrook officiating.
