Thelma Arthella Perry (Baker)

Arthella Thelma Baker, 86, passed on July 31, 2007. She was born in Jenkins, KY on March 27, 1921. After residing in Georgia for nearly 50 years, she and her husband, Hubert Forester Baker moved to Norman, OK from Woodstock, GA in August 2003. During WWII, Hubert served in the Navy, while Arthella did her part as 'Rosie' the Riveter. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, who retired from Lockheed Aircraft in 1984. She was blessed with 7 children, Richard and wife, Lotus, Sandra and husband Pat Patterson, Pat and husband Bill Tucker, Janet and husband Carl Mecke, Mike and wife Stacy, Vickie Adams, and Karen Baker. In addition, she had 17 grand children, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Corbett Perry; sisters, Jean Stamn and Betty Moore; and great- grandson, Ryan Stone.
