Magdalene Woods Hall, 72, died September 8 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

A daughter of the late Homer Arthur and Mabel Vadney Harris Woods, she was the widow of Dors Hall.

Mrs. Hall was a member of the Dorton General Baptist Church and Eastern Star Chapter #243.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Sexton and husband Robbie of Jenkins; a brother, Jimmy Ray Woods of Jenkins; two sisters, Wanda Adams and Beatrice Woods, both of Jenkins; two grandchildren, Katelyn Sexton and Brenton Andrew Sexton; two great-grandchildren, Tucker Layne and Jace Ryder; and special friend, Doug Belcher.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Woods and Fred Bartley

Jr.

Funeral services were held September 11 at the Dorton General Baptist Church. Burial was in the Bentley Cemetery at Payne Gap.
