Jerry Caudill - Class Of 1965

Jerry Caudill, 75, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away at home on March 26, 2023.  He was born to Bryant and Ada Johnson Caudill, on August 1, 1947, in Letcher County, Kentucky. 

            He dedicated 55 years of his life to the ministry of Jesus Christ.  He pastored in the Church of God of Prophecy for 45 years.  He was a faithful, loving, caring shepherd who tended his flock with excellence and compassion.  He served on his organization’s State Council and various committees, as well as volunteering 40 years of serving meals and Jesus with a smile at his beloved Kamp Nikao.  He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. 

            Jerry is survived by his wife, Carolyn Rawls Caudill of Winchester; children--Steven (Christie) Caudill of Winchester, and Derek (Christy) Caudill of Elizabethtown; grandchildren—Nicholas (Angela Porchetta) Caudill, Lauren (Dustin) Bates, Livy Kate Caudill, Makayla (Kyle Hennion) Caudill,  Tyler Caudill, and Brenden Caudill; one great-grandchild—Bowen Hennion.  He is also survived by 4 siblings—Roger (Gayle) Caudill, Michael Caudill, Sharon Pratt, and Sonja (Paul) Potter.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers—Royce Caudill and David (Rosemary) Caudill.

            Pallbearers serving are Nicholas Caudill, Tyler Caudill, Brenden Caudill, Michael Bryan Caudill, Jared Ison and Kyle Hennion.  Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Wright, Ryan Dotson, Stuart Griffie, Alan Kirby, Ivan Kirby, Bryant Caudill, Jr. and Wayne Borders.

            Funeral services will be held at 11 am (CST) on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Cross Win Church on 513 Lemon Street in Franklin.  Interment will be at Restlawn Cemetery following the service.  Visitation will be from 4-8 pm (CST) at Crafton Funeral Home in Franklin on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, and preceding the service from 10-11 am at CrossWins Church.
