Jarrett Drake “Skinny” Adkins, 26 years of age, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Jenkins. He was born on October 28, 1997, to Samuel “Sambo” Adkins II of Richmond and Heather D. Moore of Jenkins. He was a correctional officer at Red Onion Prison.
Other than his parents he is survived by his longtime girlfriend; MaKayla Hope Seals of McRoberts, maternal grandparents; David and Belinda Moore of Jenkins, paternal grandparents; Sammy (Lisa) Adkins of Burdine, Sandy Maggard of Cleveland, TN, father and mother-in-law; Tim and Kim Seals of McRoberts, two brothers; Davin (Ashley) Adkins of Richmond, Malachi Adkins of Jenkins, two sisters; Leanne June Haynes of Leatherwood, Mallory (Corbin Niece) Boggs of New Market, TN, brother-in-law; Tim Seals, nieces and nephews; Drake Adkins, Payton Adkins, Kynlee Seals, Kenzie Seals, Presley Seals, Bohdi Niece, aunts; Brigette (Kenny) Kincer, Andrea (Shane) Osborne, Autumn (Cecil) Boggs, Angela (Binky Trammell) Smith, uncle; Nick Johnson, r; Kazdan (Sierra Rose) Kincer, Kiona (Reggie) Ray, Ian Osborne, Chanston Osborne, Maggie Todd, Hayley Gaines, Kason Kincer and his dogs; Riggs, Holley and Willow.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, beginning at 7:00PM at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Danny Quillen officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at the Funeral Home beginning at 6:00PM. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hallandjones.com
