Married into the military and lived on military bases most of our lives. Lived in Germany, mainly Heidelberg, for 30 years. Our boys graduated from Heidelberg High School.

I taught at Baumholder and Bad Kreuznach American High Schools for several years.

My principal at Bad Kreuznach High School was John Marshall. He had been the vice-principal at Kaiserslautern High School when I attended there, 1958-1960. He and his wife became close and dear friends.
