Oh, Marisol. Such a bright flame. So clever and generous and kind. Thirty years later, that light still reaches us here in this far-off galaxy. Shine on, you crazy diamond. Thank you, Marisol.

Marisol was charisma. She never went unnoticed. She had that bright red hair and she was full of mischeif. There is no way of measuring how deep her loss truely was. She was special.

You are all very nice and accurate in your appraisals. She is missed and burned out far too early. Thanks for your comments.

Marisol had an air about her beyond her age.

Standing in the lunch line one day she was wearing a funky t-shirt and I was trying to see what it was about. Marisol assumed that it wasn’t the t-shirt that had caught my eye and she said “take a picture, it'll last longer.”

She’s come to mind all these years because she was more memorable than any photo could capture. I smile when I think about her.

I still have the writing that was handed out at Loretto after your passing. A penny glued to it which was picked up from your room. I think of you often, knowing that you have touched many lives even though your time on this earth was too brief.
