Bob was the sweetest guy and was always smiling. It really makes me sad to even imagine he is no longer with us. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Leslie Cartwright
Bob -- An awesome friend and buddy in the "party table" of Calculus class. The memories of Bob and Billy Groner floating down the Buffalo river will be with me for the rest of my days... Especially when Billy ducked a low-hanging branch. Bob, being in the back of the canoe, couldn't duck, so he was plucked out. This of course, left poor Billy to navigate the rapids alone from the front of the canoe... which didn't go so well. Aaaaah, great times!
Bob was my best friend from 8th grade on. He and Raul provided for quite a senor year. There are not words for what I felt when Woody called me with the news.
As an instuctor he saved many lives of aviators with what he tought them, he truly found his calling.
Yes I still remember the Buffalo river insident vividly.
I know he is looking down and smiling and will be at the reunion in spirit.
