I can’t tell you how heartbroken us students of this Grand Lady are… Jacque was more instrumental than any other teacher in instilling in me a love of biological sciences. To say that she walked us through the insides of living creatures would be a gross understatement. Her lectures, discussions and insight on the workings of all things biological was simply encyclopedic and an inspiration to her students... one and all. Although I was but a high schooler when I knew her best, as an adult, I can only appreciate and admire the countless hours she poured into our young minds. For this and so much more I will be eternally grateful… and remember her always.
