Comments:

After attending Alfred, I settled in Rochester to work at General Dynamics in the Research Library. After marrying in 1965 and starting a family, I was a stay-at-home mom for several years. Since that time I became a paralegal, finished my BS degree at Roberts Wesleyan and became director of a not-for-profit corporation for several years. After tiring of that field, I was asked to be the municipal historian for the Town of Ogden in Monroe County. I enjoy this job immensely. Tom retired from Gleason Works in Rochester. We winter at the Villages in Florida and have been traveling. Our children are in three different locations (Jim and family in Rochester, Craig and family in PA and Chris and family in Missouri) so we spend time traveling to see them and our 6 grandchildren. We are Y enthusiasts and enjoy walking the Erie Canal (We live in Spencerport, NY which is right on the canal) and biking in the good weather.

School Story:

Various courses at RIT and SUNY Brockport
Paralegal certificate at St. John Fischer (Paralegal Institute of America)
BS in Human Resources at Roberts Wesleyan College

Today, March 30, 2019, I am writing to encourage everyone to journal while we are facing this
Coronavirus situation. It is proven that journaling is good for us, and also, personal stories are essential for the information to be passed along to our families. As an historian, I have been asked to collect stories from folks in my town for posterity sake.
Give it a try. Our pastor just did an online sermon on the importance of journaling. So, it can't hurt. Give it a try.
