My life remains vibrant and very rewarding. For example, I taught in Macau the spring semester (and had the best time of my academic life) and, while there, also worked in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Taiwan. Upon my return, I worked in Athens and Brazil. I go to Lima next week and, later in the summer, Latvia, Lithuania, and New Zealand. Any one want to travel with me?

The music we hear upon entering the website reminds me of the excellent dances we often had following basketball and football games as well as at other times. We generally were well behaved and valued our friends. I wish our children and grandchildren had similar experiences.

I have had the pleasure of working in approximately 50 countries and continue to strive to see the world on other people's money.

My favorite memories are associated with homecoming campaigns as well as Mr. Stocker--a true giant of an educator.

Know your personal values and strive to achieve them. Your values provide stability, direction, and motivation--much like a keel, rudder, and sail. Remember, too, that success is as much do to with one's attitude as to one's aptitude.
