I've been on an educational Oydessy/Vision quest since graduating highschool. I attended and played football at U.W. Whitewater for 2 years 1988-1990. I transferred to Carthage College in 1990 and also played football there, graduated in 2004 with a degree in History, Whew! It took me 16 long years to earn my college degree Yay! It was well worth the ride definitely not worth the money:) I have found it is the journey and life experiences along the way more so than the destination. I met a plethora of amazing people even learned how to spell the word plethora, what it means and how to use it in a sentence:) It can be said, I earned a Doctorate in Life Experiences:) Please share this inspirational story/saga with your college bound kids. Encourage them to fight the good fight for the race is to those who endure to the end. Tell them that you went to highschool with someone who was on the 16 year college program. On second thought, thinking how much I owe the government in student loans you better not :) I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter India and currently work at Exel Logistics which is located in Plesant Prarie , WI. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Reunion.
