What is your favorite memory from La Canada High School?
I remember Ann Brookins writing an essay on a piece of trash for English, loving Mrs. Estrada's stories of her escape from Cuba, and marching for drill team at a USC home game. That's about it.
Perhaps one more thing...Did we have Home Ec in high school or was it at FIS? Wherever it was, we learned how to cook a grapefruit (i.e. cut a grapefruit in half, broil it and put a cherry on top) and the importance of washing a raw egg before cracking it open. The sewing part was much more useful than the cooking part! Reminders of the "Leave It To Beaver" era I was raised in.
