I work for Contra Costa County Health Services providing care to low income children. I also spend a lot of time working on public health projects to reduce pediatric obesity
What is your favorite memory from La Canada High School?

I liked having a close group of girlfriends, especially the pranks we pulled senior year. I remember hanging out in the senior courtyard and the powder puff derby fondly. Great math teacher - Mr. Smith and lots of sports. It was a different time- no pants, no competitive girls athletics, no democrats.

I was very sad to hear of Cheryl's passing.  She was a good friend to many of us at La Canada High School.  She was warm and supportive as well as fun.  We both became pediatricians and shared our career paths, but we did not share enough of our time together. I will miss her.
