50th REUNION -- EXTRAORDINAIRE!

 

These are pictures that were taken at the 50th class reunion, August 9 & 10, 2013, Laramie, WY.  Some were taken at the Friday night function at the UP Train Depot, some at the Saturday night function at the Hilton, and some at various events on Saturday during the day.  It was great having University Prep join us for Friday and Saturday nights.  So great seeing everyone!!!  If anyone has additional pictures that you want to post, send them on and I will add them or you can add them to your own page

 (Have you ever heard of herding cats?  That's what was going on in this picture.  It made me smile because everyone's doing what everyone does when getting ready for a picture--being themselves.  It's in here right now as a filler until the really good one comes from Paul.  This was on my camera.  My apologies to Jeanne Kenney Chambers that she's not in this one.  She will be in the next as well as an insert of Chuck Shawver. This is a work in progress.)

Saturday Night at the Hilton

We started with the Memorial Balloon release for 23 deceased members of LHS class.  As names were read, classmates released a balloon for every individual.  Prep started with their balloons and then LHS did theirs.  The list for Memorials for our class are in the "In Memory" section on this page.  Obituaries are there as well.

I sure hope I haven't missed anybody or anything.  Bernard Forest was there Friday night but got away before I got his picture.  You can see that I need help with some names.  Please let me know what to fix.

I'd be remiss in not mentioning the ever present memories of Chuck Shawver at all events.  He was instrumental in the preparation of this reunion.  He engaged the band many months ago because he thought it would be perfect for the reunion--and it was perfect.  Age appropriate music :) 

Again, in Rick's and my opinion, the Reunion was perfect in every way!!!
