It is with heavy heart that I pass on the news of the passing of one of our classmates, Terry Ackerson.  This is from Facebook in the section called:  You Know You Are From Laramie When...  It was originally posted by Buz Wick

"Terry Ackerson grew up in Laramie and was in business here for many years.

Our hearts are heavy today. Terry passed away September 17, 2016. Terry beat cancer this year but the battle took it's toll, he passed at home from a cardio event . His final day was spent in the mountains, picnicking with the love of his life, Judy. He wasn't feeling well and just wanted to end the day by coming home to rest. She was with him until the end.
Terry will be remembered as an wonderful... man. He loved hard and played hard. He has joined his son, Tracey, his dad, Walt, and his brother, Gary at the gates of heaven. He is survived by his mother, Eleanora, wife Judy, sons Trent (Wife Stacey)and Torrey (wife Shannon) step-sons JD (wife Elia) and Joe (wife Kim), two brothers Wes (wife Kris) and Danny (wife Nancy), and grandchildren Trent, Stephanie, Cody, Jaime, Nik, Elea, Josh, Mason, Andy, Brooke, and Quinton. He even has a few great grand children, Amaree, Tayden and Lawson.
