Rita Harvey, 64, passed away Sunday March 22, 2009 with her family at her bedside in St. George, Utah.  She was born in Laramie, Wyoming to proud parents Lawrence O. and Helen E. Beman (Judge).

Rita attended St Lawrence parochial school and Laramie High School.  After high school she married and began raising her family in Laramie. Through the years the family moved to various cities across the Rocky Mountain Region eventually returning to Wyoming.

As busy as Rita stayed with her own family and activities, she found time to care for her parents and an elderly uncle allowing them to stay in their homes in their later years.

 She and her husband Gary spent many enjoyable years traveling the country and attending Family Motor Coaches Association Rallies.

Rita’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren all who will miss her greatly.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Larry.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Harvey of St George, UT; one sister Jackie Fend of Reno, NV; one brother Fred “Butch” Beman of Laramie, WY; one son, Kevin Lawson and his wife Keala and daughter Taylor of Escondido, CA; daughter Becky Sutton and her husband Mark and children, Paul, Lindy and Kade of Cheyenne, WY and Daughter Sherrill Hebert and her husband Brian and children Katie, Courtny, Jacob and Devon of Midland, TX.

Vigil and rosary service will be held Friday March 27 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church.  Funeral liturgy will be held Saturday March 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Laurence O’Toole Catholic Church with Fr. James Schumacher, celebrant.  Inurnment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
